SETAC, Puerto Vallarta’s LGBTQ Community Center (www.setac.com.mx), announced an important donation in the amount of $180,140 pesos MXN from the organizers of Beef Dip, an annual circuit party that takes place in Puerto Vallarta during the months of January and February (www.beefdip.com). “Year after year, the international bear community makes Puerto Vallarta their winter destination of choice,” explained SETAC’s Executive Director, Paco Arjona. “The donation will be used to further fulfill the Community Center’s mission to eradicate HIV and other sexually transmitted infections among the LGBTQ community in Jalisco’s Coastal Area and Banderas Bay.”

“We are truly grateful that BeefDip organizer, Steve Buczek always keeps SETAC in mind when it comes to supporting local non-profit organizations,” added Arjona.

SETAC’s Community Center is located at Aldanaca 178, 4-A&B in Colonia Versalles, at the corner with Viena. Aside from offering rapid HIV testing and counseling services, the Community Center organizes film screenings, discussion groups and other activities to support the local LGBTQ community.
